Formed in 1996 by three Colorado-based U.S. Registered Patent Attorneys, Jean Macheledt and Jennifer Bales welcomed new law partner, Sheila Heidmiller, in 2004 forming Macheledt Bales & Heidmiller LLP (MBH). MBH continues to provide a full range of intellectual property law-related services (patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secret, website compliance) to a diverse clientele, including, technology transfer offices within and associated with universities and colleges, established corporations and emerging businesses, high-tech incubator participants, and a select number of independent inventors, authors, and artists.
Our general partners take an active role in advising clients on the front-end of the product lifecycle in matters concerning strategies for protection, conveyance/transfer of, and litigation of patent, trademark (brand naming), copyright, trade secret assets, as well as website compliance. We work in partnership with client management and staff -- on-site and off -- of technology transfer offices, corporate research & development groups, and legal departments. Once an MBH law partner has taken responsibility for a client matter, she will remain accessible to follow-through to directly manage the matter, cooperating with others within MBH and out, to tailor legal services to address our client's identified intellectual property needs. |
